FVMA The Gulf-Atlantic Veterinary Conference 2025
The Gulf Atlantic Veterinary Conference (TGAVC) is a key event hosted by the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), bringing together veterinary professionals, educators, and industry leaders from the Gulf Coast and Atlantic regions for networking and continuing education.
FVMA The Gulf-Atlantic Veterinary Conference (TGAVC) 2025 – Lead Designer & Branding
For TGAVC 2025, I served as Lead Designer and Branding Specialist, owning concept-to-delivery across all collateral. I refreshed the legacy brand and produced a cohesive system spanning print (small and large format), on-site signage, digital assets, social media graphics, and video edits—partnering closely with the Director of Conference & Events to align vision and execution.
Challenge:
Legacy branding created confusion about the conference’s identity, and shifting theme directions (tropical → “boujee pets” → vacation destination with minimal animals) introduced delays and inconsistency. The mandate: clarify the story, unify the look, and modernize without losing FVMA standards.
Solution:
I repositioned TGAVC around a “Learn & Recharge” travel concept—framing the conference as a restorative, destination learning experience. Visual language included beach textures, passport stamps, luggage tags, and camera motifs; a clean coastal palette; refined typography; and a compact icon set. I built flexible templates so every touchpoint—print, signage, digital, and social—felt consistent and production-ready.
Outcome:
The updated brand clarified the conference identity and resonated with attendees, exhibitors, and the FVMA Board—praised as clean, professional, and memorable. Notably, TGAVC set a new record for out-of-state attendance, with many describing the event as a “learning getaway” that blended education with a refreshing conference experience.
