Sea Life

Sea Life Aquarium, one of the location in Orlando, is a tourist attractions for those who want to get up close to unique and unordinary sea creatures in the great ocean. An idea to expand their brand by creating a unique design for their company and to give engagements to tourists when seeing this around Orlando, more specifically, International Drive.

Sea Life Aquarium – Branding and Design Expansion

For the Sea Life Aquarium project, I was tasked with expanding their brand identity to engage tourists and create a stronger presence in the Orlando area, particularly around the popular International Drive. The goal was to develop a unique and vibrant design that would capture the essence of Sea Life Aquarium's offerings—an up-close, unforgettable experience with ocean life—and help drive engagement with visitors throughout the city.

Challenge: The primary challenge was to create a design that not only highlighted the aquarium’s core attractions—unique and unordinary sea creatures—but also resonated with tourists in a busy, highly competitive area like International Drive. The branding needed to stand out and create curiosity while maintaining an appealing, educational, and family-friendly tone that reflects the aquarium’s focus on ocean conservation and education.

Solution: I developed a design that combined bold and captivating visuals of sea creatures with an inviting, approachable style. The branding featured elements inspired by the ocean, utilizing vibrant colors and unique graphic treatments that would be eye-catching to tourists. The design aimed to evoke a sense of wonder and discovery, drawing attention to the aquarium’s one-of-a-kind sea creatures. This branding was applied to various touchpoints around Orlando, including advertisements, posters, and signage along International Drive, ensuring consistency and maximizing engagement with potential visitors.

Outcome: The branding successfully created a striking visual identity for Sea Life Aquarium, making it stand out among other attractions in Orlando. Tourists responded positively to the design, with increased engagement through the visual elements placed around the city. The new branding effectively captured the aquarium's spirit of adventure and learning, helping to attract more visitors to the attraction and strengthening its presence in the competitive tourism market.
